Grandstream external captive portal - Setup guide
How to configure your splash page to authenticate guests onto your Grandstream GWN series access point.
With Grandstream, guests are sent to the Fydelia server and the redirect includes all Grandstream parameters required by Fydelia. Only the RADIUS user details are required on the Fydelia side.
Preparation
You will need:
- Admin access to your Grandstream https://www.gdms.cloud/gwn administration panel
- Access to your Fydelia account
- The full URL of your splash page from Fydelia
Creating the RADIUS server entries
- Under settings, click Profiles:
Add Primary and Secondary RADIUS details:
Details:
- Servers:
- fydelia-radius-01.fydelia.com
- fydelia-radius-02.fydelia.com
- Port: 1812
- Secret: Contact Fydelia support
Adding the captive portal
Under settings, click profile
Under splash page click ADD NEW
Add your splash page details as follows:
Ensure that Pre Authentication rules has: ondemand.fydelia.com
Enabling the portal on your SSID
Under settings, click profile
Choose your SSID and edit
Enter these settings:
Provision the changes to your access points if you have it set to manual provisioning
Your guests will now be redirected to your splash page in Fydelia
